We took engagement photos yesterday. We were not aiming high on the originality front: beautiful fall day in a park, matching T-shirts, cutesy poses. Because I am extremely lame, at some point during the proceedings, I thought, “This is not going to impress the Internet at all.”
Then something magical happened:
Collin: “How many engagement photos do you think have been taken inside porta-potties?”
Louis: “By the end of today, at least one.”
[Photo by Louis Stein. Do us a favor and click on over to his blog and then click on some ads. He took our pictures for free yesterday, because I forgot to bring the negotiated payment of a four-pack of Red Bull. He deserves an influx of ad-click nickels.]
Bwahaha! You guys crack me up. This is fantastic. Please use it on your save-the-dates, or at least pretend like you did for my amusement.
YOU are magic. I am suitably impressed.
FYI, sometimes ad systems frown upon users being encouraged to click on ads…it might not matter since you’re urging people on Louis’ behalf and he’s not doing it directly himself, but just something to keep in mind.
Good to know. But also, weird, considering I think I only ever even look at internet ads when I am deliberately trying to do someone a solid. Maybe I’m weird?
This. is. awesome.
And you totally should use it on your save the dates. 😉
oh….what would Robins grammy say????……and her aunt Chris???……and Dottie and Franco??……and ALL those relatives in Texas??…..and St Louis????….well St Louis would say ” HAD to be COLLINS idea!!!!”….”only Collin”….well… and NOW…””only Collin and ROBIN!!!!!!!! REALLY and truly….ONLY ROBIN AND COLLIN!!!!!! ……I KNOW that Louis will have an incredible amount of GREAT choices!!!! ( please God!)….even though…I do love it!!!!
I promise we took plenty of pictures that don’t involve portable toilets.
He he he!
Hilarious. You guys crack me up. I second Sarah — please use this as your save the date!
My take on the whole thing: http://loustein.blogspot.com/2010/11/engage.html
This made me laugh – it’s a fantastic photo portapotty or not 😉
How much do I love you right now?

FYI, it was an extra-wide “accessible” porta potty. Which I’ve never actually seen before Saturday.
